1808 East India Company (X Ten Cash) Shipwreck Recovered Coin
These Ten (X) Cash coins were struck in 1808 for the East India Company (EIC) for use in India. They were struck in Birmingham then sent by ship to India. The ship they were sent on sank on the Goodwin Sands in January 1809.  The ships coins and other items were recovered in 1985, this being one of them.  Due to being submerged for almost 200 years the coin is in a remarkably good state of preservation.  This is a wonderful conversation piece as well as a true treasure coin and a great item to show your friends.  Coin comes with a certificate of authenticity.  This has been framed at some point so the authenticity certificate has been placed on cardboard so it has some yellowing form the adhesive.

* I do not clean items prior to listing (with the exception sometimes of Rings and Silver).
* Buyers planning to wear items that are for piercing should clean them before use.

• Items can take a maximum of 30 days for delivery, although I aim to deliver within a sooner timeframe.
• You have 14 Days from the receipt of item to return if you wish to do so.
• Return Postage is at the buyer’s cost.
• Responsibility for the safe return of the item is the buyer’s responsibility.
• Items damaged in transit on return will not be refunded and the buyer will be required to pay postage for return of the item back to them.
• A refund will be issued within 7 days of the return to my address.
• A return administration processing fee will be deducted from the refund as follows:
O Items under £10 = 25%
O Items £10 - £50 = 20%
O Items £50 - £100 = 15%
O Items over £100 = 10%
• Original Postage if originally charged will not be refunded
