Stunning Victorian Yellow Metal Mourning Brooch Set with Agate

Newly acquired and available is this Absolutely Stunning Victorian Yellow Metal Mourning Brooch Set with Agate.  The brooch is relatively lightweight at 6g, largely due to its open work and raised design which gives it the illusion of being heavier than it is.  
 
This was recently acquired at auction with items from a large country house in the South West of England.  The brooch has a lovely fleur-dy-lys type patterning which surrounded a centrally mounted polished agate tablet.  The brooch is approx. 40mm x 32mm, the fastener to the rear is in good order and is also secured by a small chain and safety pin arrangement.  
 
This is a wonderful piece and a very worthy front row addition to anybody's collection.
